Since 1968 Country Braid House has been dedicated to keeping alive the time-honored New England tradition of rug braiding. We look upon our craft as creating a family heirloom that is both functional and beautiful. We use only new wool cloth in our rugs and can match most any colors, creating a special rug just for you. Our skilled craftspeople take great pride in their workmanship. Their hand lacing is concealed within the braids, so the thread never shows and is not subjected to daily wear and tear. This construction insures that our rugs are long lasting and completely reversible, easy to maintain and guaranteed never to come apart.
